The Kansas City Chiefs host the Detroit Lions on Sunday in a matchup of two of the NFL’s top teams.
The Chiefs (2-3) are coming off a 31–28 loss to Jacksonville, as Patrick Mahomes threw for 318 yards and two touchdowns. Mahomes is just one touchdown shy of 300 for his career and could become the fastest player in league history to reach that mark. Travis Kelce had his best game of the season, and rookie receiver Xavier Worthy is expected to be back at full strength.
The Lions (4-1) have averaged 34.8 points per game, the most in the NFL. Their defense has also impressed, led by Aidan Hutchinson’s five sacks and a secondary that continues to make plays.
