ESPN Is Making A Documentary About The College Football Star Who Had A Fake Girlfriend

ESPN is dropping a documentary this fall about Manti Te’o’s infamous fake girlfriend scandal.

The documentary will be titled “Manti Te’o: Too Good to Check.”

Te’o was catfished while playing for Notre Dame. He thought he was in a long distance relationship with a woman named Lennay Kekua, but Kekua was really a man by the name of Ronaiah Tuiasosopo.

Te’o literally talked about Lennay Kekua dying of cancer on national television and she wasn’t even real. He even did an interview where he talked about meeting this person who didn’t exist.

No word on when the documentary will officially be released.
