The West Plains Dugout Club is inviting the public to a College Baseball Construction tour and field preview Monday Oct 13th at 9am to 11am or 4pm to 6pm the location is 1410 Bill Virdon BLVD in West Plains.

Jim Cox Memorial Golf Tournament will take place Saturday Oct 18th with a Tee time of 11am it’s a 2-person 18-hole scramble with the cost of 80 dollars per team there will be hole prizes and lots of fun, sign up sheet inside the pro shop the tournament will be held at the Thomas F Benyo Willow Spring Municipal Golf Course.

 

On Friday, October 10, the West Plains Quarterback Club will sponsor Black Out Cancer Night as the West Plains Zizzers take on the Poplar Bluff Mules. The special event will benefit the Ozarks Healthcare Cancer Treatment Center.Fans are encouraged to wear black to show their support for cancer fighters and survivors. A highlight of the evening will be the Warrior Walk Ceremony at 6:30 p.m., honoring individuals who have battled cancer either personally or alongside a loved one. Those who would like to be recognized during the ceremony are invited to register by contacting Ashley Cooley at ashleycooley@zizzers.org.

 

Congratulations to Sophia Dotson Cabool Lady Bulldog for reaching 1,000 career digs! A dig is a defensive play that keeps the ball from hitting the court after an opponent’s attack and Sophia has done that over 1,000 times in her high school career. Her quick reactions, fearless effort, and determination have anchored the Bulldogs’ defense time and time again.
