The South West Missouri Coaches Association football teams have been released and in Class 4 the Defensive player of the year went to West Plains Zizzer SR Jaxon Hunter. And coach of the year went to West Plains Zizzer Brock Kenaga.
The Liberty boys tournament gets underway tonight JV games will start at 4pm and the first round of varsity game will be Rush vs Neeleyville at 7pm and Bakersfield vs Lighthouse at 830. Tuesday at 7pm Hartville vs Neeleyville game will air on the fox 969. And at 830 Liberty vs Lighthouse game will air on the fox 969. Thursday 7pm Hartville vs Rush game will air on the fox 969 and 830 Liberty vs Bakersfield game will air on the fox 969. Friday 3rd place game at 7pm and championship game at 830 all at Liberty High School.
KC is out of playoffs, as they fall to the Chargers 16-13 and Mahomes tears ACL in left knee out for rest of this year and future not clear on time of return next year if at all.
The Cabool Holiday Tournament will get under way on Dec 26th at Cabool top seed is Bunker Liberty received the second seed and the third seed went to Mansfield. The Blue and Gold tournament is set as well and it starts on Dec 26th as well and the tope three seeds in the Blue division are. #1 Rogersville the two seed went to Willard and 3 seed is Republic. Gold division top 3 seeds are #1 Nixa and Hartville picked up the 2 seed and the 3 seed is Ozark.
