West Plains Zizzer Keenan Holloway Will continue his athletic and academic career as he has committed to Central Christian College of Kansas to play baseball.
The Missouri Tigers visit Kentucky tonight pregame at 530 tip-offs at 6pm all on Q94. And Saturday the Tigers travel to Ole Miss pregame 430 tip-off 5pm all on Q94.
West Plains Zizzers hosted The Salem Tigers last night in boys high school basketball and the Zizzers cruised to a win 69-42. Zizzers will be back in action on the road next week on Tuesday when the travel to Poplar Bluff game will air on KDY 102.5.
The Pleasant Hope boy’s basketball tournament will get underway from Jan 13th thru 17th. Teams competing in the tournament. Blue Eye, Chadwick, Halfway, Liberty (MVBT), MCE, New Covenant Academy, Pleasant Hope, Walnut Grove. Seeding for the tournament will be Jan 5th.
The MSU-WP Grizzlies have been on a holiday break but will return to the hardwood tonight when the Grizzlies host Link Prep at the West Plains Civic Center tipoff is set for 7pm and you can catch all the Grizzly basketball action on KDY 102.5.
State Rankings for high school basketball local girl’s teams in the top ten. Class 1 Bunker is #8, in class 2 Norwood is #3. In class 3 Willow Springs is #10, in class 4 Doniphan is #1 and in class 5 West Plains is #8. Now local boy’s teams in the top ten in the state rankings. Class 1 Bunker is #1, in class 2 Hartville is still #1, Mansfield #4, Van Buren is #6 and Norwood is #10. In class 3 Seymour is #8.
The Zizzer Football Banquet will be held Jan. 27th 530pm at the West Plains High School Cafeteria, the quarterback club will provide hot dogs and hamburgers. 9th & 10th grade athletes and families please bring chips 11th & 12th grade athletes and families please bring desserts.
