Informational meeting will be held at the West Plains Middle School March 25th at 530 for incoming 7th and 8th grade students from surrounding rural schools and West Plains Middle School who are interested in joining Middle school football.

13th annual Zizzer Golf Tournament is set for Saturday March 14th at the West Plains Country Club. It’s a 3-person scramble with a tee time of 11am, registration starts at 10am and the entry fee is 240 dollars per team. Class 2 district 2 Alton over Greenville 73-59, South Iron over Ellington 73-48, East Carter over Winona 71-40. Van Buren vs Alton 5pm and South Iron vs East Carter at 630 on Thursday in the semi finals games played at Van Buren. Class 2 district 10. Bakersfield over Fordland 86-79, Norwood over Dora 86-31, Mansfield over Summersville 69-31. Hartville vs Bakersfield at 6pm and Norwood vs Mansfield at 730 Thursday in the semi finals at Mansfield. West Plains Zizzer baseball annual Tacos & Trivia fundraiser is the baseball team’s biggest fundraiser that helps with all expenses they encounter during Zizzer Baseball season. It takes place on Saturday Feb 28th at 6pm at the West Plains High School Cafeteria. And, The West Plains Zizzer baseball team Officially opening the season March 20-21st in Harrison at the annual Harrison Tournament. But there will be a Hydration Red/White Scrimmage: March 13th and the Pre-season jamboree at Zizzer Ballpark: March 16th.
Class 1 district 3 Girls basketball seeding. , Delta vs Naylor at 715 and Bunker vs Oak Ridge at 6pm games will be played at Walnut Grove.
Class 2 district 10 girls basketball seedings. Norwood is the #1 seed and got a first-round bye. Norwood vs Bakersfield at 6pm and Gainesville vs Hartville at 730 all district games will be played at Mansfield.
Girls class 3 district 9 from Houston Liberty will face Thayer in the semi finals at 530. Licking will take on Willow Springs at 7pm in the semi finals. Championship game will be played Friday night with a tip off set for 630.
