The West Plains Zizzers Varsity baseball team won big over Waynesville 12-2.
The Zizzers got things moving in the first inning when Tank Sims drove in two runs on a triple to left center field. Landon Montgomery led the Zizzer to victory on the mound. Going five innings, allowing two runs on three hits, striking out five and walking one.The Zizzers scattered seven hits in the game. Peyton Cooper and Sims each collected multiple hits for the Zizzers. The Zizzers stole seven bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Hoover led the way with two. Zizzer JV also picked a w with a 4-1 win over the Tigers. Caleb DeShane threw 3 scoreless innings. DeShane also recorded multiple hits.
