It’s the Cardinals and the Brewers again tonight pregame at 550 first pitch at 635 all on KUKU and KWPM.

 

The Grizzly Booster Club will celebrate the new athletic seasons with the annual Grizzly Fall Picnic at 5 p.m. today, at the West Plains Civic Center exhibit hall.  A meal sponsored by Wayward Sons Productions will be served free of charge. Grizzly Basketball Head Coach, Grizzly Softball Coach and Grizzly Cheer Team Coach will be on hand to introduce the basketball, softball, and cheer teams, and give previews of the upcoming seasons. Immediately following the picnic, the Grizzly Volleyball team will host its season home opener against region 16 archrival Jefferson College in the civic center arena. Admission to the game also will be free. All Grizzly fans, not just Grizzly Booster Club members, are welcome to attend the picnic.

 

On Saturday, Wright County Law Enforcement will take on Texas County Law Enforcement in a softball game that will benefit the Shop With a Hero Programs for both counties. The game will start at 7 p.m. and will be played at McCownd Field at the Tri-County Fairgrounds in Mountain Grove. A $3.00 donation is requested for admission to the game. All proceeds raised with be split between Wright County and Texas County and used for their Shop With a Hero Programs.  If you would like to volunteer or need more information on the event please contact Bennie Cook at (417)260-2382. 

 

The Willow Springs Mens league annual two-person scramble will be held Sept 24th with a tee time of 11am the cost is 20 dollars for members and 30 dollars for non-members carts are available for rent if needed. Sign in will start at 11am. And a tee time of Noon.
