The Royals are on a three-game losing streak. Kansas City fell to the Guardians 2-0 in Cleveland. Jonathan India had two of the team’s five hits in his return from the injured list. Starting pitcher Noah Cameron was charged with his seventh loss after allowing two runs through seven frames. The Royals are third in the AL Central at 73-and-72.
They play the Guardians again this evening. Bobby Witt Jr. was also back in the lineup following a three-game absence and right-handed starting pitcher Michael Wacha was placed on the seven-day injured list due to a concussion.
