The West Plains Lady Zizzers kicked off a double header home at The West Plains High School on Friday Night, February 20th, 2026 as both teams took on The Carl Junction Bulldogs & Lady Bulldogs.

1st Quarter: Lady Zizzers take an 11-0 start after a three and a right wing floater by Shaylee Petersen and a floater by Jillian Green. But two more threes to follow, one a piece by Shaylee Peterson and Ainsley Mcwilliams.
A brief steal by Carl Junction as Lady Zizzers lead 20-2 after a jumper by Junior, Ravilyn Smith.
A three, but a charge call for Shaylee Peterson, now a 28-8 lead for The West Plains Lady Zizzers wth 3:35 to go in the first. First turnover for The Lady Zizzers as Zoe Scharnhorst tries to drive but stolen. Rebound by Junior Neveah Triplett for Carl Junction is good. Rebound Lucy Hafer for the Lady Zizzers puts up a long three.
A foul and triplett shoots two on a close baseline shot for Carl Junction. Julia Willard with the rebound and two threes a piece making it a 29-6 ballgame with 1:51 to go.
Jaydyn Howard for Carl Junction with the layup shot on the next Bulldog possesion. Rebound and a three by Lucy Hafer. Foul and Zoe Shrubb to the line for West Plains, 32-8- Lady Zizzers.

2nd Quarter: Lucy Hafer with another jump shot for West Plains. The third turnover as Carl Junction takes the ball back but a foul on Triplett for the Lady Bulldogs.
Rebound and Shaylee Peterson with another three. Dempsey Harris for Carl Junction. Rebound and back to back threes by Mcwilliams and Peterson for The Lady Zizzers. 49-13 with under 4:30 to go.
Jewlia Willard with the rebound and another three as Lady Zizzers have now made it into turbo clock territory.
Zoe Shrubb on the next rebound for West Plains scores off a pass from Junior Delani Wahome. With 35 seconds left, A foul Neveah Triplett for The Lady Bulldogs shoots two.

3rd Quarter: Turnover in the first two seconds for the Lady Bulldogs and it will be Lady Zizzer Basketball as Lucy Hafer goes on a mad dash, shooting a floater and two threes, 59-19- Lady Zizzers with about 7 minutes to go.
Ball nearly lost but was taken back by Zoe Scharnhorst for two. Carl Junction throws it away again on the rebound.
West Plains Lady Zizzers with their fourth turnover and Carl Junction fights for a shot but thrown away again. Two more as the ball is taken back and shot by Jewlia Willard for West Plains.
The first three pointer of the game by Neveah Triplett was good, 63-22- West Plains. Another steal by West Plains and a three is good by Ainsley Mcwilliams.
Two three point plays each follow for both teams. Another three by McWilliams and a play which is completed at the line by Dempsey Harris for the Lady Bulldogs.
Bounce pass for Shaylee Peterson to Ainsley Mcwilliams for two more is good on the rebound. Lady Zizzers still with the lead, 69-25 with 2:16 to go in the ballgame.
Annie Rogers with the second three for Carl Junction is good. She has five points in the quarter after shooting a two earlier. A foul on the next play for The Lady Bulldogs and Ainsley Mcwilliams goes to the line for two. She makes both.
Jillian Green shoots on the next foul for Carl Junction and makes both. Forty point game with 23 seconds to go, West Plains leads 75-35.
A three by Mcwllliams is good as Carl Junction throws it away. But taken back and three for Dempsey Harris at the buzzer for Carl Junction.

4th Quarter: Triplett with a two to start the quarter for The Lady Bulldogs but taken back and another two by Delani Wahome for West Plains.
Rebound Dempsey Harris for the Lady Bulldogs who puts up a long three. Taken back as Mcwilliams passes to Whahome and Willard. Willard up and in for three more, 83-42.
Foul on the play, and the 1-1 is good by Jwelia Willard.
Lady Zizzers dominate through the rest of the Quarter as Ainsley Mcwilliams makes two more three pointers
