JEFFERSON CITY, MO – Today, Governor Mike Kehoe announced four gubernatorial appointments to various boards and commissions.
Margaret Freihaut, of Robertsville, was reappointed to the Missouri State Board of Chiropractic Examiners.
Dr. Freihaut is a practicing chiropractor and has owned Fenton Family Chiropractic since 1984. She remains active both in professional organizations and civic service, currently serving on the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and previously serving as president of the Missouri State Chiropractors Association. Freihaut earned her Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan University.
Elizabeth Grove, of Monroe City, was reappointed to the Safe Drinking Water Commission.
Ms. Grove formerly served as a management circuit rider for Missouri Rural Water Association, where she currently does part time contract work. She also assists the Monroe City R-I Schools District music department. She holds a Master of Business Administration from Quincy University and a bachelor’s degree in political science Truman State University.
Dennis Knipmeyer, of Higginsville, was reappointed to the Safe Drinking Water Commission.
Mr. Knipmeyer serves as chairman of the board of trustees of the Tabo Watershed District. Prior to retirement, he was manager of Consolidated Public Water District #2 of Lafayette, Johnson, & Saline Counties. He has also served as president of the West Central Electric Cooperative Roundup Foundation Board. Knipmeyer earned a bachelor’s degree in agricultural chemistry from the University of Missouri.
Shane Weber, of Sedalia, was appointed to the Missouri Real Estate Appraisers Commission.
Mr. Weber serves as vice president at Missouri Property Appraisal. He has also received the West Central Association of Realtors’ Appraiser of the Year Award for several years. Weber has served as a Missouri state-certified residential real estate appraiser since 2004. He holds an Accredited Senior Appraiser designation from the American Society of Appraisers and a Federal Aviation Administration remote pilot license. Weber is a United States Air Force Veteran.
