Dora MO– Local student-athlete Isabelle Martin is currently running for Athlete of the Year, earning recognition for her outstanding achievements and leadership in cross country, track, and basketball.
In 2024, Isabelle made history by leading her school’s girls Cross Country team to the first-ever State Title in any girls’ sport at the school. A two-time All-State Cross Country runner, Isabelle has consistently demonstrated dedication, discipline, and drive. She will be entering her junior year of cross country this fall.
In addition to her cross country accomplishments, Isabelle was part of the 4×800 relay team that earned 3rd place at the 2025 State Track meet. She is also a starter on the girls’ varsity basketball team, where she continues to showcase her athletic ability and leadership across multiple sports.
The Athlete of the Year program not only highlights student athletes but also serves as a fundraiser for a charitable cause. Supporters can cast one free vote per day, and there is also an option to make a monetary donation for additional votes, with all proceeds going to support the supporting the V Foundation for Cancer Research and Why Not You Foundation.
