The University of Missouri men’s basketball is set to renew its rivalry with Kansas State on the hardwood, hosting the Wildcats on Friday, October 24 at Mizzou Arena.
In a border rivalry that dates back to 1907, the Tigers have played the Wildcats 237 times in their history, marking MU’s second-most played opponent ever. The former conference foes are meeting for the first time since 2018 and the first time on either campus since 2012 as Kansas State holds a slight edge in the all-time series, 121-116.
The exhibition game – a first for Mizzou at home against a Division I school in its history – also marks the first opportunity for fans to see the Tigers during the 2025-26 campaign. Mizzou returns three starters from a team that eclipsed 20 wins and earned an NCAA Tournament bid for the second time in three years, including three victories over schools ranked in the top five for the first time since 1988-89.
Tipoff at Mizzou Arena is set for 9 p.m. with TV designation to be announced at a later date. Any Mizzou fan that has secured their season tickets prior to gameday receives a free ticket to the exhibition as part of their season package. Single-game tickets can also be purchased to the exhibition at a later date.
