Missouri improved to 5-0 on the season with a 42-6 Homecoming win over Massachusetts at Memorial Stadium. The victory marked the Tigers’ 15th straight at home, their 23rd consecutive home win against non-conference opponents, and their ninth straight Homecoming victory in front of a sold-out crowd of 57,321. Mizzou piled up 521 total yards of offense, while holding UMass to just 124, including only 19 rushing yards.
Running back Ahmad Hardy carried 24 times for 130 yards and three touchdowns, tying a school record with his fifth straight 100-yard rushing game. Quarterback Beau Pribula completed 26 of 29 passes for 241 yards, setting a school record with 21 consecutive completions during the game. Kevin Coleman Jr. led the receivers with 12 catches for 108 yards. Missouri scored touchdowns on six of its eight possessions, with Jamal Roberts, Brett Norfleet, and Tavorus Jones also finding the end zone. The Tigers now enter a bye week before hosting Alabama on Saturday, Oct. 11, at 11 a.m.
