COLUMBIA, Mo. – Mizzou Women’s Basketball (8-9, 4-8 SEC) sank a program record 18 three-pointers en route to a 96-80 win over Florida (10-11, 3-10 SEC) on Senior Day Sunday in Columbia, Mo. The Tigers’ 96 points matched a season-best from their season-opening win over North Alabama on Nov. 27.
Mizzou’s 18 three-pointers matched a program record, the third time its hit that mark after also doing so on Jan. 16, 2013 (vs. Auburn) and Dec. 8, 2013 (vs. Bradley).
Prior to the game, Mizzou honored its two seniors on the roster – redshirt senior guard Shug Dickson (St. Louis, Mo.) and redshirt senior forward Shannon Dufficy (Melbourne, Australia – who contributed to the win in a huge way, scoring 20 and 19 points, respectively.
Mizzou had three players score 20+ in the game, as Dickson was joined by the electric sophomore duo of forward Hayley Frank (Strafford, Mo.) and guard Aijha Blackwell (Berkeley, Mo.), who had 26 and 21 points, respectively. It marks the first time three Tigers scored 20+ in the same game since Nov. 29, 2008, when Alyssa Hollins (27), Shakara Jones (22) and Jessra Johnson (21) did so in a three-overtime game. The last time Mizzou had three score 20+ in regulation was Jan. 6, 1995 vs. Oklahoma when Nikki Smith (23), Erika Martin (22) and Mandy Bryan (20) did so.
Turning Point
Utilizing the three-ball early, Mizzou sank 10 three-pointers in the first half to aid a 15-point lead at the break, 45-30. The senior duo of Dickson and Dufficy were a combined 6-of-6 from deep in the game’s first 20 minutes, while Frank was 3-of-4. Florida cut into Mizzou’s lead in the fourth quarter, but was never able to get closer than 10 points.
Top Tigers
- Frank led Mizzou in scoring for the third time this season with a team-high 26 points, as she shot 9-of-15 from the field and 6-of-8 from three. Her nine field goals matched a career-high, while her sixth threes were a career-best.
- Blackwell scored 21 points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds to record her 11th double-double of the season.
- Dickson scored 20 points, her first 20-point game as a Tiger while sinking a perfect 3-of-3 from deep.

- Mizzou’s 22 assists matched a season-high from the Tigers, a mark they also hit against New Orleans (Dec. 16).
- Frank led the Tigers in scoring for the third time this season with 26 points, her third 20-point game of the season and the sixth of her career.
- Frank’s nine field goals made matched a career-high, while her sixth threes were a career-best and the most since Sophie Cunningham made seven against Vanderbilt on Feb. 10, 2019.
- Blackwell scored 21 points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds to record the 11th double-double of her season and the 18th of her career.
- Her 21 points marked the third 20-point game of the season and the 11th of her career.
- Dickson scored a season-high 20 points while registering her 13th career 20-point game and first since 22 vs. Houston on March 3, 2018 while playing for Tulsa.
- Dickson also matched a season-best with three shots made from three.
- Dufficy played her best game as a Tiger, scoring 19 points on 7-of-11 from the field and 5-of-7 from deep
- Her five three-pointers set a new career-high, surpassing her previous best of four she set three times while playing for Utah State.
- Freshman guard Mama Dembele (Manlleu, Spain) posted a career-best seven assists in the game.
