On Tuesday afternoon the West Plains Zizzers took on the Hillcrest Hornets in Varsity baseball at Hillcrest and came away with a 1-0 win behind the arm of Junior Landon Montgomery. Montgomery walked the lead-off hitter in the first and retired 21 straight batters after that for a no hitter. The Zizzers run came on a Sacrifice Fly off the bat of Avery Miller to score Montgomery. West Plains is scheduled to travel to Branson on Wednesday to face the Pirates.
