The Philadelphia Eagles have signed head coach Nick Siriani to a multiyear contract extension. He was entering the final season of a five-year contract before agreeing to the extension.
Siriana has been the head coach for four years and won this past year’s Super Bowl, 40-22 over the Kansas City Chiefs. He has a 54-23 record and his .701 winning percentage is the fifth best in NFL history.
The amount of years on the extension and the value haven’t been shared.
The San Francisco 49ers have signed linebacker Fred Warner to a three year contract extension worth $63 million. The deal adds $56 million in guarantees to the contract and the $21 million a year average makes him the highest-paid linebacker in the NFL.
Warner was named a first-team All-Pro last season for the fourth time despite playing the final 13 games with a small fracture in his ankle.
Last season, Warner had 131 total tackles along with two interceptions and four forced fumbles.
