The MU Extension is partnering with Scenic Rivers Invasive Species Partnership and Heart of the Ozarks Quail Forever for a workshop and field day on May 30th at the extension office 1376 Bill Virdon in West Plains! In the morning, you will receive information on identifying plants and methods of treatment. Hear from biologists representing the Missouri Department of Conservation and Quail forever on cost-share opportunities for tackling invasive plants on your property. Following lunch, provided by Quail Forever, the group will venture into the field to practice plant identification and learn how to safely mix and apply herbicides to combat invasive plants. All levels of participants are welcome – from beginners to invasive plant experts.

A second workshop is planned for Oregon County June 13th at the Alton Freewill Baptist Church however participants will need to bring their own lunch for that workshop.
