Salvador hit two of KC’s four homers on the night, but left the game after getting hit on a swing while behind the plate. MJ Melendez and Bobby Witt Jr. also went deep for the Royals, who have dropped seven-of-nine. Ryan Yarbrough was tagged for five runs in less than four innings as he fell to 0-and-4 with the loss. He started the game by striking out the first five Orioles batters he faced.
