Junior Caminero hit a fifth-inning grand slam as the Tampa Bay Rays beat the St. Louis Cardinals 7-2 at Steinbrenner Field. Christopher Morel also went deep in the victory, while Ryan Pepiot earned his ninth win after holding St. Louis to one hit in five scoreless innings. The Rays earned a series win over St. Louis. Matthew Liberatore was charged with his 11th loss after surrendering four runs on three hits in four-and-a-third innings. The Cardinals are in fourth place in the NL Central at 64- 67.
