The Kansas City offense stepped up to take down the Texas Rangers 10-1 at Globe Life Field and avoid a series sweep. MJ Melendez went 2-for-5 with three RBI and a run scored in the win. Brad Keller improved to 2-and-1 after striking out seven and allowing one run in six-and-two-thirds innings. The Royals snap a three-game losing skid with the win and improve to 4-and-9. They will return home to host the Atlanta Braves for a three-game series that begins tomorrow night.
