The Southeastern Conference unveiled its league slate on Wednesday, completing the 2025-26 schedule for University of Missouri men’s basketball.
The Tigers’ 18-game SEC schedule features 16 games against teams that qualified for the 2025 NCAA Tournament, including all nine teams that make the trip to the Mizzou Arena this season. Overall, Mizzou is slated to face three teams in a home-and-home series, while hosting six of the remaining schools and traveling to face the other six.
Mizzou is set to be challenged right from the start, hosting defending national champion Florida on Saturday, January 3. The Tigers handed the Gators’ their only home loss of the season last year, earning their first win over the eventual national champion since 1983.
The Tigers also host Auburn (Jan. 13 or 14), Georgia (Jan. 20 or 21), Oklahoma (Jan. 24), Mississippi State (Jan. 31), Texas (Feb. 14), Vanderbilt (Feb. 17 or 18), Tennessee (Feb. 24) and Arkansas (March 7) at Mizzou Arena.
Mizzou’s road slate includes Kentucky (Jan. 6 or 7), Ole Miss (Jan. 10), LSU (Jan. 17), Alabama (Jan. 27 or 28), South Carolina (Feb. 7), Texas A&M (Feb. 10 or 11), Arkansas (Feb. 21), Mississippi State (Feb. 28) and Oklahoma (March 3 or 4).
Finalized dates, tip times and television designations will be released at a later date.
The Tigers’ complete 31-game schedule includes 18 home games, including a school record 10 that advanced to the NCAA Tournament one season ago. Overall, Mizzou is slated to face 19 schools that earned a bid to the national postseason tournament in 2025.
Mizzou aims to add another successful campaign under fourth-year Whitten Family Men’s Basketball Head Coach Dennis Gates in 2025-26. Last season, the Tigers defeated three top-five schools in the same year for the first time since 1988-89 and finished sixth in the SEC’s historic campaign that sent 14 schools to the NCAA Tournament.
