SCA sports Ava head football coach Dan Swofford has been hired as an assistant coach at Evangel. Coach Swofford coached the Ava Bears for 12 years, Swofford’s Bears won four district titles and a trip to the Class 2 State Championship game in 2019.
On Thursday April 14, we will be honoring and recognizing West Plains Zizzer, Joe Bill Dixon for his many years of service and retirement in 2021. This will take place at the Zizzer Relays between 215-230 pm.

The Willow Springs Men’s Golf League will start May 5th at 530pm, the league will continue to be a two-person 9 hole scramble, there will be a signup sheet inside the pro-shop on the bulletin board. Members and nonmembers are welcome to play in the Thursday night men’s league at Willow Springs.

At 8 p.m., season reviews and updates from the Grizzly Basketball, Volleyball and Cheer Teams, as well as an awards ceremony and special announcements. The Kansas Jayhawks overcame a 15-point halftime deficit and rallied for a 72-69 win over the North Carolina Tar Heels in the men’s basketball National Championship Game on Monday night in New Orleans. The Jayhawks, down by as many as 16 points in the first half, completed the largest comeback victory in title game history.
