Ruth Laverne Hinshaw, 85, of Bull Shoals, AR passed away March 31, 2022 at the Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House in Mtn Home, AR. She was born September 22, 1936 in Ada, OK to Vernon and Alice Laverne (Clark) Smith.
Ruth was very loving wife, companion, mother and grandmother. She worked for many years as a grocery store cashier. She will be remembered for her witty sense of humor, as well as her spunky, spontaneous nature. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving significant other, Dieter Desch of the home; her daughters Debbie Hendricks and husband Gary of St Louis County, MO, Sherri Redus and husband Jerry of Paicfic, MO, Vernene Parker and husband Eddie of Fort Smith, AR; her grandchildren and great grandchildren; and one sister Evelyn Sanders of Hazelwood, MO.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO with Bro. John Fransisco officiating. Burial will be in the Arthur’s Creek Cemetery near Houston, MO. Arrangements are under the direction of Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Gainesville, MO.
