Mat Perkins has stepped down as head football coach at West Plains to take over as the head football coach at Columbia Rock Bridge Ozark radio sports spoke with coach Perkins about stepping down.
Coach Perkins went on to talk about his new head coaching job.
Coach Perkins was the head coach for West Plains the past 3 years and put up some great numbers 2 straight district titles. 2 straight conference titles. 13 all-state players in 3 seasons. So now the search begins for a new Zizzer head football coach.
Missouri State University-West Plains’ Grizzly annual homecoming celebration is tonight, The Grizzly Basketball team will face SEMO Prep at 7 p.m. in Joe Paul Evans Arena at the West Plains Civic Center. The 2022 Grizzly Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned at halftime. The game will be broadcast on KDY 102.5.
