Mountain Grove, Mo. – Authorities have identified the two individuals arrested yesterday that were involved in a multi-county pursuit and shooting at a Wright County Sheriff’s Deputy on Sunday.
The Springfield NBC Affiliate, KY3, were the first to report the identities. Those arrested were driver Bobby Naylor, 28 of Mountain Grove, and Breanna Wallace, 28 of Norwood. Potential charges pending on the pair include 1st Degree Assault, Armed Criminal Action, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
At 11 p.m. Sunday night, Wright County Sheriff’s Deputy Brown attempted to pull over a vehicle but, the driver took off and Brown initiated pursuit. The Deputy had his vehicle shot at during the pursuit, which went into Douglas County. After Brown lost sight of the vehicle, a multi-jurisdictional manhunt began with the assistance of the Douglas County Sheriff, Mountain Grove Police, Missouri State Highway Patrol, and the Missouri Department of Conservation. The cooperation of law enforcement agencies brought about apprehension of the Naylor and Wallace after they had abandoned the vehicle.
