Tennis: Serena Williams Gets Hurt, Quits Wimbledon

Serena Williams retired from her opening Wimbledon match yesterday, limping off the court after slipping on the grass.

She was in the fifth game of the first set against Aliaksandra Sasnovich when she planted her leg for a shot and slipped on the grass. She was clearly injured and took a medical timeout for treatment lasting about 10 minutes, then returned to the court.

She won a couple of more points, then fell to her knees in pain.
