The Kansas City Chiefs have pulled off a blockbuster move, trading All-Pro cornerback Trent McDuffie to the Los Angeles Rams.

Kansas City will receive a package of draft picks: the No. 29 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, plus fifth- and sixth-round picks in 2026 and a third-round pick in 2027.

McDuffie has been one of the Chiefs’ top defensive players since being drafted in the first round in 2022, earning All-Pro honors and helping the team win two Super Bowls.

The move helps Kansas City clear salary-cap space and stockpile draft picks, while the Rams strengthen a secondary that had been a weak spot.
