Tiger Woods Leaving America For Treatment

Tiger Woods is planning to leave the U.S. for treatment following his recent DUI arrest on March 27.

The golf legend had announced he’s stepping away from golf to focus on his health and recovery.

And on Wednesday, a judge approved his request to travel out of the country for treatment, citing privacy concerns and the need for more intensive care.

His attorney says the overseas facility was recommended because his situation is complex and his privacy has been “repeatedly compromised” in the U.S., which could interfere with treatment.

The plan is for Woods to enter an inpatient, highly structured treatment program abroad, though the exact location hasn’t been disclosed.
