Sophomore guard Chloe Sotell hauled in a team-high seven boards and notched 11 points.

Junior guard Shannon Dowell added 10 points and dished two assists.

Mizzou (16-13, 4-10 SEC) jumped out to an early five-point lead in the contest as a deep triple from Slaughter and a floater by Dowell earned Mizzou the advantage.

Following a timeout, LSU (24-4, 10-4 SEC) erased the deficit and took the lead. Minutes later, Slaughter buried another 3-pointer that gave her 10 points in the frame. Despite the effort on the offensive end by the junior, Missouri trailed 23-14 after one.

LSU added to its advantage throughout the second and took a 54-22 lead into the half. Redshirt senior Jayla Smith and Sotell registered triples in the quarter.

Senior guard Saniah Tyler, who made her first start of the season for Mizzou, tallied a make from beyond the arc to start the third quarter. Minutes later, Dowell converted an and-1 layup and followed it up with a conversion from long range as Missouri battled in the opening minutes of the quarter.

In the back half of the frame, LSU extended the scoring gap and led 85-37 headed into the fourth.

Junior guard Abbey Schreacke, Sotell and Tyler added long-range makes in the final frame, but LSU closed out the contest and earned the victory.
