What a game!! Zizzers win again 2-1 over one of the best Class 5 teams in the state, #2 Willard.
Landon Montgomery pitched a complete game giving up 3 hits and 1 run.
Defense was stellar tonight. One play that likely saved the game was a diving grab with 2 outs by Josiah Long to keep Willard off the board.
Ethan Miller had our only RBIs with a single to center which scored 2 runs.
The boys are playing great baseball right now and are going to the Class 5 District 6 championship game on Saturday.
For the first time since 1995, the Zizzer Baseball team has made it to the Class 5 District 6 Championship baseball game! We would LOVE to see a sea of RED in the stands to support this long time coming achievement!
