The West Plains Zizzers began their football season with a strong first half. The first quarter had the Zizzers leading 13-0 with two touchdowns and an extra point. The second quarter saw the Center Hill Mustangs from Olive Branch, MS. put their first touchdown on the board and another score from the Zizzers to end the half with the Zizzers leading 19 to 6.
The Zizzers brought the thunder after halftime, scoring two more touchdowns during the third quarter growing their lead to 32 to 6. The Mustangs were able to score another touchdown but were unable to stop the Zizzers from answering with a score of their own. The West Plains Zizzers defeat the Center Hill Mustangs 38 to 12.
