Survivors include: his son, Patrick Cash (Carla) of Mammoth Spring, AR; his daughter, Leslie McMurtrey (John Pat) of Thayer, MO; granddaughters Stephanie Darling (Kenny) of Conway, AR, and Nicole Cash (Colby Huff) of Mammoth Spring, AR; grandson, Neal McMurtrey (Angela Trent) of Thayer, MO; great-granddaughter, Jensie; great-grandson, Grayson.
L.A., or Lindy as he was better known, loved his family, his many friends, good bird dogs, and the outdoors. An avid hunter for most of his life, he became an excellent cook in later years. He delighted in preparing huge meals for his entire extended family and friends. His wife Bobbye, the love of his life, preceded him in death by almost one year. He never stopped grieving for her. Lindy was a loving and generous father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be forever missed by each one of us. Lindy was one in a million.
Graveside services will be 2pm Sunday, January 23, 2022, at the Sturgeon Cemetery in Mammoth Spring, AR, with Bro. Jarred Russell officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clary Funeral Home of Thayer, MO.
