Lanton, MO. – This past Thursday, the Lanton Fire Department responded to a brush fire that ended with assistance from the Howell Rural Fire District.
This fire took place off of County Road 9900, just south of Lanton. Both fire suppression agencies were able to get the fire under control with containment lines.
