In the first round of district play Thursday night, the Bears were on the road taking on the #2 ranked Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish.
The game would get off to a slow start, with only the Fighting Irish scoring at the end of the 1st quarter, but in the second quarter, Springfield Catholic would pick up two more touchdowns and lead by a score of 21-0.
The Bears struggled all night against a very good Fighting Irish team, but would find the endzone in the 4th quarter.
