Ronald McDonald Tooth Truck visits West Plains schools

Known as the Tooth Truck, the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile unit provides dental treatment and prevention education for students throughout Southern Missouri. Currently, the Tooth Truck is serving West Plains School District students with little to no access to dental care for free with a goal of completing the treatment plan of each child who registered.

Though the mobile office measures just 200 square feet, it is equipped to provide a full range of dental services. Since its debut in summer 2002, nearly 9,000 children have been treated through over 17,000 dental appointments valued at $3.7 million.
