BROCKWELL, Ark. — The Izard County Consolidated Junior High Quiz Bowl team finished as the runner-up at the NAESC tournament on November 20.
After dropping the first game of the day to Mtn. View, ICC’s junior high students played with all they had to win 5 straight games. These wins got them to the finals where they faced Mtn. View, Ark. again.

ICC Quiz Bowl Coach, Charles Treat said, “Instead of focusing on the loss from earlier in the day, they kept their heads, won the rematch and forced a winner-take-all finale (double elimination so we had to beat them twice).”
