According to the Troop G Water Division of the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a Pomona man drowned in the North Fork River. The drowning happened July 19.
76-year-old Norman Robinson was discovered under water by an individual floating down the river. Officers responded to the scene and removed Robinson from the river.

The drowning happened half a mile south of Hammond Camp.
