Marie Alice Alcorn, age 98, passed away on January 16, 2022, at Mercy St. Francis Hospital, Mountain View, Missouri. She was born to William Dave and Margaret Ann (Sisney) Collins, on September 28, 1923, in Three Brothers, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret Collins, and eight siblings, Lloyd Elmer Collins, Melvin James Collins, Gladys Mary Hanes, Marvin George Collins, Lucille Virginia Collins, Burell Marlin Collins, Vernon Quinton Collins, and Junior Thurman Collins.
Marie is survived by three children, Patricia Ann (Shockey) Morgan and husband, Leslie, Charles David Alcorn and wife, Vicki, and Randy Dale Shockey and wife, Lois; two sisters, Bonnie May Stephenson, and Janice Ruth Gregory; twelve grandchildren, Jackie Morgan (Cori) of Fox, AR, Melissa Mejia (Pascual) of Springdale, AR, Amy Stevens (Matt) of Timbo, AR, Cindy Morgan of Mountain View, AR, Pamela Hicks (Craig) of Fox, AR, Gail Wilson of West Plains, MO, Albert Shockey (Cheyenne) of Mountain View, MO, Sherri Howell (Brett) of Mountain View, MO, Margaret Shockey of Mountain View, MO, Michael Alcorn (Tisha), Angie Alcorn, and Ashley Rosa (Matt); and a host of great-grandchildren and numerous friends and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at Yarber Mortuary, Mountain View, Missouri, with Craig Hicks officiating. Interment will be in Forest Dell Cemetery, Mountain View. Condolences may be expressed at www.yarbermortuary.com.
