After 26 seasons with the Missouri State University-West Plains (MSU-WP) Grizzly Volleyball program – the past 14 as its head coach, Paula Wiedemann is retiring.
University officials made the announcement today, Dec. 12. Her retirement will be effective March 1, 2023. Patricia Figueiredo, a former Grizzly Volleyball standout who served as an assistant coach with the team this past season, will take over as interim head coach until a permanent head coach is selected.
The G&W OPO Memorial 2-person scramble will be held Sunday Jan 1st 2023 at 1pm at the Willow Springs Thomas F Benyo Municipal Golf course. It’s a 9-hole 2 person scramble with a cost of 50 dollars per team which includes lunch and mulligans to sign up call 417-469-1214 or sign up at the pro shop.

In class 4 making second team all-state Heston Miller WR and Carter McCracken LB West Plains making third team all-state in class 4 Watson Hafer TE, Miles Foster DE and Jesse Hudson DB also making third team all-state in class for Aiden Simpson punter congratulations to all making All state in football.
