Henderson, AR. – A Henderson, AR. man was arrested for damaging a local car wash with a roofing hatchet, according to recent reports.
According to the probable cause affidavit on the case, on Wednesday, May 1st, damage was reported on a car wash located around Wilderness Point Road in Henderson.
Investigators reported the next day and began to parse through testimony and surveillance footage to identify what had happened. Footage displayed a male using a roofing hatchet to damage the building before they eventually even destroyed the camera.
The male from the video was seen down the street, and was confronted by law enforcement. Kyler Thompson, 22 of Henderson, was asked about the incident while being shown evidence of himself on the camera. Thompson stated he had no knowledge of the event but added that he was in a state of heavy intoxication a couple nights prior.
Thompson was arrested on charges including Felony Burglary, and Felony 1st Degree Criminal Mischief.
