Linnie Zane Boyd, 83 years, 7 months, and 25 days old, passed away on May 5, 2025, at his home in Bradleyville, Missouri.
Linnie was born September 11, 1941, in Garrison, Missouri, to Ralph and Mary Ellen (Hodges) Boyd.
He was raised in Garrsion and graduated from Bradleyville High School in 1959.
On April 8, 1961, Linnie and June Case were united in marriage in Harrison, Arkansas, and together were blessed with five children.
Linnie worked at Meco Construction for fifteen years. He also drove a Bradleyville School bus for twenty years.
They attended Garrison Baptist Church. In his youth, he was a talented basketball player. Later in life he enjoyed fishing, coon hunting, and raising miniature Aussies. Linnie loved his family and making memories.
Linnie was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Ellen; siblings, Leo Boyd, Vera Mae Bloomer, and Velma Coday.
He is survived by his wife, June; children, Martie and Brenda Boyd, Bryan and Gwen Boyd, Michele and Jack Harris, Melissa and Derek Coleman, and Melanie and Jason Sims, fourteen grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren; brother, Leon Boyd; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Linnie will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2025, in the Clinkingbeard Chapel in Ava, Missouri. Visitation will be at 1:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Mills Cemetery in Douglas County. Officiating will be Pastor Bally Johnson.
