Mountain View Board of Aldermen to Meet Today

The City of Mountain View Board of Aldermen will convene today, beginning with a 5:00 p.m. work session followed by the regular council meeting at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers at 120 N. Oak Street.

The work session will focus on City Code Chapter 23, the Personnel Manual. The regular meeting agenda includes the swearing-in of a new city clerk, discussions on hay rebids for the Y Highway property, updates to the City’s Code of Ethics Policy, surplus property revenue, and several lease agreements involving local recreation facilities.

Other items include discussions on city expenditures, departmental reports, storm shelter registration, emergency equipment donations, and repair quotes for city infrastructure. The council will also review ordinances concerning pool rates, nuisance penalties, and a runway rehabilitation design agreement with MoDOT.

Additionally, a closed session is scheduled to address legal and personnel matters under Missouri statutes.
