Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol held there annual Torch Run to raise awareness for the Special Olympic on Wednesday May 21st. Several Patrolmen and emergency workers ran along side of Special Olympic athletes to carry the torch. The run began at Troop G headquarters in Willow Springs and then moved to West Plains where they run from the north side of West plains to Dairy Queen. After the run was over the West Plains DQ fed all of the Special Olympic athletes.
