Orioles 5, Cardinals 2

The Orioles won their season-best third game in a row, beating the Cardinals 5-2 at home. Dylan Carlson delivered the big hit for Baltimore, crushing a three-run homer in the fourth inning. Jackson Holliday and Gunner Henderson each drove in one run in the victory. Charlie Morton earned his first win of the season by allowing a pair of runs in six innings of work. Baltimore is now 19-and-34 on the year, still last place in the AL East. Pedro Pages hit a two-run homer to provide St. Louis’ offense. Erick Fedde gave up five runs, three earned, in five innings and got the loss. St. Louis falls to 30-and-24.
