Howell County Reserve Deputy Glen Moore Receives FBI Leadership Award

From the Howell County Sherriff’s Office:

The Howell County Sheriff’s Office is proud to recognize Reserve Deputy Glen Moore for his incredible service, leadership, and recent honor received from the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Special Agent in Charge (SAC) Chris Crocker recently presented Deputy Moore with the prestigious FBI Director’s Community Leadership Award, recognizing his outstanding work in violence prevention and school safety.

After partnering with the FBI St. Louis office following the launch of the School Safety Initiative in 2021, Deputy Moore helped design a threat prevention model used across Missouri schools. As Director of Threat Management at the Missouri School Boards’ Association, Center for Education Safety, he has personally trained more than 1,000 school employees on how to identify, help, and redirect students of concern—preventing potential violence before it occurs.

The Howell County Sheriff’s Office would like to take a moment to recognize and honor Reserve Deputy Glen Moore for his outstanding dedication and service to our department and community.

Deputy Moore is not only a trusted member of our Reserve Unit, but also a vital asset to our agency as a whole. His decades of experience and extensive knowledge in law enforcement tactics and training make him an indispensable resource for our deputies and specialized units.

From training deputies and new recruits, to preparing our SWAT team for high-risk operations, Deputy Moore plays a key role in ensuring our team remains prepared, professional, and safe in the field.

We are grateful for his continued service and proud to have him as part of the HCSO family. We appreciate Deputy Moore, for his unwavering commitment to excellence and for helping the Howell County Sheriff’s Office shape the future of law enforcement in Howell County!
