On Sunday June 15th Officers with the Mountain View Police Department and Howell County Sherriff’s office executed a search warrant for suspected narcotics on a home in Mountain View.
When officers arrived, they found two children at the home with no supervision. The two suspects, Shelly Bradenburg and Franklin Bradenburg arrived at the location and the female became verbally aggressive. Both suspects were detained for safety of the officers and for investigative reasons. Officers then transported both adults and both children to the police department.
The search continued and produced baggies of suspected Methamphetamine, glass smoking devices, a handgun and ammunition around three feet from where the children sleep.
They are each being charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Possession of Controlled Substance, Drug Paraphernalia, and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. The Children were turned over to Child Protective Services.
