Cubs 6, Royals 0

The Royals were shutout on the road. Kansas City lost to the Chicago Cubs 6-0 at Wrigley Field. The team had six hits and went 2-for-3 with runners in scoring position, but were unable to get a run across home plate. Starting pitcher Rich Hill was tagged with his first loss after allowing three runs, one earned, through five frames. The 45-year old first made his MLB debut at Wrigley in 2005. Kansas City is his 14th franchise he has pitched for. The Royals are now 49-and-53. They visit the Cubs again this afternoon.
