It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janiece Bohrer, who departed this life on August 19, 2025, at the age of 60. Janiece was born on April 16, 1965, in West Plains, Missouri, to Cecil and Toshiko (Nihongi) Ilgenfritz.
Janiece is preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Toshiko Ilgenfritz; and her husband, David Bohrer.
She is survived by her fiancé, Randy Morgan; her son, Anthony Ilgenfritz; her granddaughter, Jasmine Lamon; her brothers, Jim (Nettie) Ilgenfritz, and Matt (Jinger) Ilgenfritz; her nieces and nephews, Jina Ilgenfritz, Kristy Ilgenfritz, Cori Medlin, and Jason Ilgenfritz.
Janiece was an avid lover of art and culture. She enjoyed fiction novels, poetry, writing, crafts, and creating.
Janiece was loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a kind, giving, compassionate, and loving person. She brought joy and light wherever she went. Janiece’s absence has profoundly affected us all. She will be greatly missed.
