The October meeting of the Friends of the Garnett Library will be held on Friday, October 10, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Carol Silvey Student Union in Hass Darr Hall. Lauren Willis, director of counseling services, will be the guest speaker and will introduce those present to the MSU-West Plains Counseling Center and what services are offered to students.
Cost of the lunch is $10, payable at the door. Those wishing to eat should make a reservation by calling 417-255-7940 or emailing FriendsofGarnettLibrary@MissouriState.edu by Tuesday, Oct. 7. “Everyone is welcome to attend,” organizers said. “We welcome you as a guest, or you can find out about joining the organization at the meeting.”
